My most coveted gifts have been books. As a young girl, I fondly recall hardcover copies of The Bobbsey Twins resting beneath the tree on Christmas morning. And as an adult, I gleefully added a biography or historical fiction title to my wish list. Of course, I couldn’t wait to read my new treasures during the snowy days which followed.
